About governing documents
Governing documents include documents that define SKH’s goals and visions, our internal rules on different issues and decision and delegation arrangements. Examples of governing documents include the strategic plan, rules of procedure, admission regulations, the system of qualifications, the communications policy and various guidelines. There are guidelines for course and programme syllabuses, introducing and winding up educational programmes, public defence and handling departures from good research practice, among others. Examples of general governing documents for quality enhancement work include the quality policy, guidelines for systematic quality enhancement work and communications strategy. Examples of governing documents for structured collection activities include guidelines for course evaluation and guidelines for education assessment.
About support documents
Support documents include, for example, templates that act as a support. Examples of support documents include templates for self-assessment reports and templates for the heads of departments’ end of semester compilation of course evaluations. The quality system also includes a number of key processes, such as operational planning, recruitment and admissions, and there are process descriptions for these.
