Performing Arts - Master
The programme enables you to deepen your artistic practice by developing research-based explorative methods. You will engage in critical dialogue about your own and others’ work, and discuss topical questions within contemporary theatre, performance and theory.
During the education, you will acquire knowledge of methods and processes within artistic research. You will deepen your understanding of research in contemporary theatre and performance, and develop your ability to share and disseminate knowledge with others within the field.
You will apply with an individual artistic project which is to be developed during the two years and completed within your degree project. Within the programme’s courses you will develop your understanding of different discourses and practices within contemporary theatre, performance and theory, in order to then develop your project further. It is a prerequisite that this project develops as part of your own ongoing artistic practice, in the contexts in which you are already working.
