Registration
If you have a Swedish personal identity number, you register online via Ladok for students
- A few weeks before the course starts, you will receive an email from SKH with information about the dates when registration is open.
- On the page Ladok for students you choose to log in via antagning.se and with the same login details you used when you registered on antagning.se.
- On Ladok's start page, you will find independent courses or courses within your program that you should register for. If you have applied to/are studying at several universities, you need to select Stockholm University of the Arts in the menu.
- Done! You are now registered as a student.
- Please note! Look through your contact details under the tab My details (Mina uppgifter). Change anything that is not correct.
- On My pages (Mina sidor) you can always download various certificates during your studies and, when you have finished, apply for a degree.
If you are prevented for specific reasons from registering during the period specified here, you must notify studieinfo@uniarts.se as soon as possible.
Do you not have a Swedish personal identity number?
If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number, you will receive an email from SKH inviting you to register via Zoom.
Why do I have to register?
As a student, you must register prior to the start of an educational programme or course to which you have been admitted. Registration is a prerequisite for you to start your studies at SKH.
When you register to a programme or a course, it means that you accept your place, and have decided to study. By law, all universities have to keep an up-to-date record (Ladok) of their students and that is why it is important that you register at the beginning of each new term and period. There are also other reasons why you have to register:
1. Participation in education and study results
You must be registered to the programme/course in order to participate in the education and get your study results reported in the student registry (Ladok).
2. Student finance
As soon as your registration has been entered in Ladok, the information is sent to CSN, which means CSN can begin paying out your student finance, if you have applied for it. This only applies to students getting the Swedish student financing.
3. Insurance
All students registered at SKH are covered by a personal injury insurance through Kammarkollegiet. The insurance applies during school hours and during travel to and from school. We strongly recommend you to arrange your own insurance coverage (health care and home insurance) to cover your free time.
4. Computer account, keys, lockers
For those of you who study in programmes you must register in order to access computer account, keys and lockers in the changing rooms.
5. Membership in the Student Union
You have the opportunity to join the Student Union. Read more here: Student Union.
6. Mecenat card/student discounts
