Exchange studies in Dance Pedagogy
Courses offered
The Department of Dance Pedagogy offers you to follow courses from the curriculum of the Bachelor's Programme in Dance Pedagogy. Find more information about the structure and content of the programme here.
Courses for the spring semester 2023 include:
- Dance for Children and Youth - Didactics 2 (7.5 ECTS)
- Artistic Leadership in Dance and Choreography (7.5 ECTS)
- Special Pedagogy with Focus on Dance (7.5 ECTS)
For the dance training, you are also to select one of the courses below:
- Dance 1b (7.5 ECTS) OR Dance 2b (7.5 ECTS) OR Dance 3b (7.5 ECTS)

Application
The application period is 15 October to 15 November 2022. For information on how to be selected as an exchange student within the Erasmus+ programme, please contact the international coordinator at your home university. Applications are handled through the online application system EASY. To apply, click on the green "Apply"-button on the top right corner of this page.
The following documents will be required:
- Letter of motivation. In your letter please make sure to specify your main dance genre
- CV
- Your latest Transcript of Records
- Certificate assuring that you are registered at a higher education institution
- Letter of recommendation from a dance tutor or teacher at your institution
- Nomination letter from your institution
- A video of maximum length 10 minutes and 150 MB including:
- A presentation of yourself (max 30 seconds.)
- An act in your main dance genre. The film clip should show dance exercises and something where we clearly can see the motion and flow of your dancing. The exercises are preferably filmed in a dance studio, without lighting or other arrangements. Please make sure that we can see you. If there are others in the film clip you need to specify who you are.
Please note that we only accept applications and certificates through the online application portal and that we will not consider any applications from students sent by e-mail or regular post. When applying online, make sure to double check that you have chosen the correct home institution. Our partner universities should be registered in EASY. If you do not find your institution, please contact our Erasmus+ Coordinator or your International Coordinator. Your home institution will automatically receive a request to nominate you once you have submitted your application.
