Dance Education (MADE)
Be a part of Sweden's most vibrant and largest dance department at SKH! MADE is a unique Master’s programme that prepares the students for ways of working in dance that are becoming increasingly varied and cross-disciplinary. There are only a few equivalent programmes in the world.
Based on choreography, this is a programme aimed at professionals in the field of dance education. MADE invites experienced dance practitioners to engage with any dance genre of their own preference in depth. We welcome dance genres, created both for performing arts contexts and also for social contexts such as tango, folk dance, and community dance.
The focus is on how the student can convey and work with dance and choreography in an exploratory manner.

New Performative Practices (NPP)
The NPP Master’s Programme invites experienced, practicing performers from diverse fields. In this education, the student joins a vibrant, supportive context to engage with their own artistic practice and find tools to further their research.
NPP creates a site for active, nuanced questioning and expanded artistic knowledge wherein performance practitioners get to define what constitutes their artistic practice.
NPP is research preparatory, qualifying the student for a Master of Fine Arts in Choreography, with a specialisation in Performative Practices.

Performing Arts
The Master in Performing Arts addresses those who wish to develop their existing artistic practice in the performing arts. The programme provides the opportunity to develop new ideas through deepening the knowledge of discourses and practices at the intersections of theatre, performance and theory.
The programme enables the students to deepen their artistic practice by developing research-based explorative methods. The student will engage in critical dialogue about their own and others’ work, and discuss topical questions within contemporary theatre, performance and theory.
